Here is a diamond graded by the EGL- that in itself does not make it a "bad diamond. It calls the grade into question, nothing more, nothing less.
As usual, I disagree with EGL. The stone is nice and white- but I see it as an H.
The stone is eye clean, but based on the small feathers I can make out with the loupe, I must say Si1. We bought the ring complete from a trusted vendor-so I have to grade the stone in the setting.
Having said all this, its a lovely stone, and ring.
Beautiful micro pave work- shaped prongs. Beautifully cut tiny round diamonds used in the pave.
18kt white gold Diamond Ring.
The ring is a very nice quality- it's not made in our "Uber shop"- but it still features lovely shaped prongs (claws)
In terms of construction, it's made from extruded wire, just like the top of the line rings- and that's really the best method if you're looking for this type of pave style.
The shank is 2mm thick
The halo measures 8.5mm square across the top.
