It might be easy to dismiss what a seller writes- after all, there's so many "sales pitches" out there. My goal in writing this is to educate in a general sense. I say general sense because in judging diamonds there's so much that is not "hard facts"

This Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond is a perfect example. Ostensibly the diamond is an amazing cut- how often do you see EX Polish/VG Symmetry on a Fancy Colored Radiant Diamond? Not all that often. Yet the cut is not the high point of this diamond. It is beautifully cut- but it was cut to make the color as pure as possible. Yes- the cut itself can make a huge difference in the purity of the yellow. And its the purity of yellow that makes this diamond spectacular.

It is bright yellow.

The size, at 1.21 carats makes it appreciably larger than a 1ct.

VS1 clarity and No fluorescence make this a truly spectacular example of the breed.
