2.00ct Y-Z VS2 Cushion Cut Three Stone Diamond Ring
I love this business. This website is frequented by thousands of folks daily - some of whom are not consumers.
In this case, a major league cutter of fancy colored diamonds spotted the new and improved DBL site and let us know they wanted to supply us.
We have heard great things about them, so I was glad they approached us.
They sent over a huge selection of stones for us to pick from - this center stone was one of the first three diamonds we bought today.
It's a lovely cushion cut diamond. The stone is as close to a perfect square as you can get - and it looks very large for its weight. Both of these aspects are great when it comes to setting the stone in either three stone, solitaire, or halo style rings.
It is a great VS2 in clarity - with the tiniest little crystal tucked away in a corner where you'll never see it.
Typical Y-Z - light lemon yellow - bright color. Typically priced well below a Fancy Light Yellow. This is one sweet cushion.
The Ring
For this natural light yellow diamond, we have chosen accents of icy white trilliant cut diamonds.
They provide a stark contrast to the natural light yellow center – which is what we want.
The setting is one of our more economical, yet it still features some beautiful trademark details. The shapes prongs are notable. The way the trilliant diamonds integrate into the edge of the shank is another lovely detail.
I like the fact that it is so light and airy, the ring lets a lot of light through to the diamonds.
The finish is first rate.
