3.01ct Fancy Yellow VS2 Cushion Cut Diamond Ring

Three carat fancy yellow diamonds are not all that easy to find- especially cut as well as this one. We "generalize" the shape, calling it a cushion. In fact it's a "Modified Square Brilliant" according to GIA.

The cut is amazing, no doubt. The sparkle is outrageous. The VS2 clarity is totally eye clean.

Let's talk about the all important color. GIA graded it Fancy Yellow, however it's one of the stronger Fancy Yellow diamonds you will see. It is very close to Fancy Intense Yellow.

For this reason, it is by no means the cheapest 3ct Fancy Yellow on the market. In fact, if we were buyers of "excuse" stones, the prices are far less. Medium or Strong Fluorescence, for example, will reduce the price by as much as half. But I don't look for "cheap" I look for the best. This is such a stone

The Ring

Holy cow- these side stones are perfect for the center in terms of size and totally contrasting in terms of color. The side diamonds are so large I hate to call them baguettes - they are almost like emerald cuts. You can see the amazing steps.
