This stone was "love at first sight."

I was blown away by the color - which is a soft lemon yellow. Then the cut - WOW! Smaller table, with larger corners meaning the sparkle is prodigious. I love the diamond's profile, and it looks large for its weight (a big plus for most buyers). The diamond is totally eye clean. The reason is that the nature of the imperfections is numerous (about 6) tiny imperfections.

So, even with the loupe, they are hard to spot - completely impossible to see with the naked eye. That means that visually, this diamond is identical to an Internally Flawless.

This type of diamond looks amazing once it's properly set - which we'll probably do soon enough. You gotta love Y-Z diamonds. In my opinion, they are grossly undervalued compared to Fancy Yellow.
