Do you want to trade in your diamond?

In most cases, we accept trade up of diamonds purchased from us. It works like this: If you've bought an item from us, and want a bigger one you will receive full credit for your initial purchase as long as the new purchase is two times the original item's price. Contact us for full details.

What if you did NOT purchase your diamond from us?

Let's talk about this. You probably purchased your diamond from a store. Say, for example, you paid $10,000 for your diamond. I  would likely sell  such a stone for about $7000- this is why you should buy your diamonds from me. I love selling diamonds, but no matter how much I love it, I must turn a profit. Therefore, my cost of this $7000 diamond is somewhat less- you paid 10 in the store remember. Believe it or not, the margin on diamonds is not that high, percentage wise. Let's just say for example, that this diamond cost me $6000. I get my diamonds from regular, and consistent suppliers. They offer reliability, and flexibility. This means that a diamond that I would pay  a regular supplier $6000 for becomes worth FAR less if sold to me by a consumer.

Now, I could try to trade by raising the price of the diamond you want to trade for- but this reminds me of a used car ploy, and I think it stinks. Therefore- if you are willing to take far less than your diamond is worth, and IF ( this is the biggest if) I am interested in owning your diamond- then we can talk about a trade. In some cases this may be attractive to potential buyers- but in the interest of doing business on the up and up, I need to make it clear you will get a lot less than you paid for your item on a trade in.
