Here's a very attractive, newly cut, antique inspired, Blue Fluorescent half carat Diamond.
The color really changes based on the lighting - you can see that in the few pictures taken in the lightbox (the others are natural lighting).
The stone can definitely change color- and there's no dullness.
In truth, the lightbox pics make the stone look much more yellow than it does in real life.
I love the cut. The pics make it look there's a bowtie - and there is something similar looking.
However in person, the area in the middle of the diamond produces the largest flashes - and best opportunities for fire.
This is common and even quite desirable in old cut cushions.
There's no GIA report currently - we got the stone from the cutter.
