Here's a super cool ring we picked up from one of our favorite brokers. He scours the secondary market. A lot of it is drek. I mean, I don't want to be too hard on the guy.

Let's face it, we're particular. But sometimes, he comes up with a real gem. This is one of those cases.

The ring itself is the star of the show here. 20 straight baguettes dance around your finger. These are super high-quality stones. All VS+ clean. All perfectly cut. All are colorless.

The center diamond is a transitional - still a round brilliant -but large facets and an open culet. You can see the imperfection in the pics. The stone still has tons of life, fire and sparkle. And it's cheap

The fact that the baguettes are such high quality leads me to conclude that this center diamond was added to the ring some time after it was originally sold - likely with a different center stone. The ring itself is in excellent condition. We estimate it to be from around the 1960s.

All in all - the ring is a total knockout - and unrepeatable.
