What is a "Rose Cut" Diamond?
Basically, it's a diamond cut from a shallow piece of rough. It's faceted so that either side glitters and sparkles as much as the other- there's no top or bottom.
It also has about 70% greater surface area as compared to a round brilliant of the same weight.
In a round diamond 3.5mm spread is a 0.17ct diamond. These diamonds spread 3.5mm and weigh about .09ct each.
This all makes these diamonds perfect for a necklace like this.
A laser is used to drill a tiny hole at each end, and they are mounted directly on the chain.
They have such a vibrant personality.
As you can see, this rose gold necklace has a "Lobster Claw" clasp. We have a white gold version also available - which has a spring ring clasp. Both are beautifully made. 18 inches in length.
