An old friend came by this afternoon with some very cool brown diamonds. This one is an interesting color.

Obviously the color is deep... and there's something interesting with that orange tint.

The stone is nicely cut for a fancy color as it is. Crushed ice sort of sparkle. It is not all that large for a 1 carat diamond.

On the other hand, it's not all that costly for a 1ct diamond either. So there's that.

GIA color only report - it looks pretty clean to me - the color means it is totally eye clean regardless.
