We went back to the cutter of this lovely center diamond, and picked two beautifully matched side diamonds.

They are cut the same way as the center, by the same cutter.

These are not certified, however, they match the cut of the center stone beautifully. They are very close in color, and very clean.

Put these three chunky cushions together, and the flashes of bright fire are coming from all directions.

We hand forged the lovely prongs and use a heavy platinum shank. An amazing, one of a kind piece.

More details about the center stone

Here is a great looking Cushion Brilliant Diamond. It is a modern cut, with a totally antique vibe. It's cut for light performance. The cutter went for an overall beauty, instead of sacrificing what would be needed to to achieve "0" Light performance and cut grade.

Maybe it would have come out to .99cts. Or, she (there are female diamond cutters) looked at it after getting the AGSL results, and instead of putting it back on the wheel, she decided that the beauty was in the overall life and personality of the diamond.

The stone is really bright and lively, no matter the lighting.

I will say that the color is definitely at the bottom of K - I think GIA might have given it an L color, if it had a GIA report.

Not that I think that detracts from the beauty at all.

In terms of clarity, it is an SI1 - and you can se a tiny white crystal in the pictures.

In real life it's so not a bother. The tiny speck is minuscule and the sparkle of the stone obliterates it.

The other thing it is cut for is size - the stone has a lot of size for the weight in this type of cut. Great value here.
