More details about the center stone

I adore the way the color works with the cut in this awesome Lab Grown Diamond.

Having delved deeper and deeper into Lab Grown diamonds - and of course, Pink ones... (note, I'm looking at fancy shaped lab grown diamonds, as opposed to round ones). It's truly rare to find "pure" pink. Orange is an element in the vast majority of Lab Grown Pink Diamonds.

This one is pure pink. A very attractive shade of pink, at that.

It's been graded SI1 by IGI. The diamond is 100% eye clean. There are zero transparency issues - the stone is bright - and the large pink/white flashes beam through unmolested.

More about those large flashes, and pear shape diamonds, and cut.

if you've heard the term "Bow Tie", it refers to a central dark section of the diamond, shaped like a bow tie. Basically, two triangles, point to point.

In some ways, the basic facet pattern of a round brilliant, overlaid onto a teardrop shape will create wide facets in the center of the stone, as well as narrow facets at the tip and rounded part.

You can see this clearly in the pictures. In fact, these narrow facets focus the color more efficiently than the wider ones in the middle. So there is more color at the top and rounded part opposite the tip.

However, the "bow tie" section, in this stone, is totally bright flashes - and they amplify the baby pink color. This gives you a delightful, bright pink/white light show.

It's impossible for me to capture this with my camera. The shape is perfect - the cut is gorgeous.
