This is an over the top diamond. Whenever you look at it, it's dramatically neon green.
The color is an almost unbelievable bright green.
The "Very Strong Green" fluorescence definitely plays a role here. There's no ill effects from the fluorescence - it really does light the diamond up in almost any lighting source bright enough to see the diamond well.
Truly a special diamond.
In the pictures you can see the main reason for the VS2 clarity rating.
There's a teeny-weeny carbon spot- at the very edge of the diamond - right near a corner - it almost breaks the surface... but doesn't. There are many cases where notable, and super costly rare green diamonds have carbon or other imperfections that break the surface, so that would not surprise me.
However in any event, it doesn't break the surface. It IS in the exact correct position to reflect into the diamond in pictures.
That "in pictures" aspect is important - you really can't see the tiny spot- or its reflection in real life.
This is a spectacular green diamond (OK, Green-Yellow)... but it reads neon green.
