We pick stones that complement each other. In this case, the colorless trilliants really have an organic flow up to the lovely oval.

So, first, we make sure the stones are right, then we hand forge the top of the ring in 18kt Yellow gold and Platinum.

The results are stunning. The stone has picked up color nicely.

The shank is perfectly finished and so nice to the touch.

Normally we do not buy light yellow stones that are fluorescent - this one is medium blue. I did buy it because the stone is just that stunning - and ovals that are this will cut or just hard to fine.

The color of the stone, when viewed in direct sunlight gets a bit lighter than it does when you're looking at the stone indoors. In both cases, the color is lovely.

The beautiful cut comes into play because the sparkle of the stone is comprised of quite a lot of large bright flashes. Remember, the stone is classified as an oval brilliant, as opposed to an oval modified brilliant.
