I love the cool and unusual. This diamond, which I believe to be a genuine antique Old Euro is a "Fish Eye"- and meets both those requirements.

There's a ring in the middle of the stone- you can see it in the pictures. This is caused by a combination of depth/table size/crown and pavilion angles. Basically, it's a reflection of the girdle, into the table of diamond. Normally, it's a bad thing.

As I mentioned, you can see this in the pictures. Even in person. But, they eye really picks up on the massive flashes coming off the crown. That's the part of this particular fish eye that makes it special - your eye is drawn to the blindingly bright flashes in the 54% of the top of the diamond that is not the table. That tiny table means larger crown facets and the slim 55% depth ratio means those large facets are aimed at your eye.

You don't pick up the K color much ( if at all) and it's eye clean as far as the VS2 aspect.

Also the sucker is really large for a 1.80ct!

Very cool stone I could look at it all day.
