This is an exceptional stone. The thing that immediately struck me was how lively and almost… "diamond-like" this ruby is. The faceting is beautiful, and the material is just so crystal.
Of course, then we have the color… It is such a rich red. Also, let me repeat it’s very lively.
In the pictures, you can make out a few of the crystals in the stone. In person they are really not an issue.
The stone is accompanied by a GIA report. The stone was heated during the cutting process, which is customary.
