When I first saw this stone, in its little box, I was attracted to the color, and sparkle.

Then I picked it.... Y-Z, I1... wait, what??? Why the heck did GIA call this an I1??

Upon close inspection with a loupe, I see the feathers that cause the grade.

However let me tell you, they are buried.

I can see them in the pics as well. In real life, the sparkle is so intense that it overwhelms any chance your eye has of focusing on that exact spot.

The color is also tremendously attractive.

So, you are saving a nice chunk of change due to something you can't really see.
