2.06ct O-P SI2 Cushion Brilliant Diamond
This is very hard to find Diamond. First of all, of course, the cut. It is a cushion brilliant – cut in a way that looks very much like an old mine brilliant. Another in the amazing aspect of the cut is the 61.7 depth ratio. Combine this with a 62% table – and you get that incredible old mine look, except the stone looks more like a 3 carat old mine in terms of size. Hard to believe, but there are no negative aspects to the shallow depth – only that positive aspect of size, and also the way the stone projects fire and large chunky flashes works very well with this depth. There is no windowing or any negative effects.
The color is unusual, to say the least. It is a faint yellow. Due to strong blue fluorescence, the Diamond tends to look colorless in many situations. Then we have the clarity: SI2. As you can see from the close-up photos The clarity grade is comprised of a bunch of smaller less malignant crystals in that knot. Without a doubt, the sharpest-eyed person will be able to pick up some of the small crystals, but they are really not noticeable easily (please excuse that small piece of lint on the table and some of the pictures – it's very hard to get the diamonds clean for photography).
Put this all together and you have a great value on an antique style cushion Diamond for someone who's looking more for size and personality, as opposed to perfection.
The photos above are ACTUAL Photos of the diamond you will receive.
