This stone has so much going for it in terms of actual appearance.
The cut is amazing, for heart lovers. Great shape, and excellent size for the weight. The stone is extremely bright and lively with a lot of bright yellow light return.
OK, so it looks great- but wait, it's an I1?
Yup.
In this case, the imperfections don't mar the beauty. The grade is based on characteristics that blend in with the stone- - no black carbon. As you can see, the transparency is not compromised to any degree.
And it's Medium Blue?
Yup.
In this case, the Fluorescence is actually a plus, because GIA is known to be tougher in their color grading of medium and strong blue Yellow diamonds.
In many cases, yellow stones with fluorescence of this depth are dull. This is one of the smaller percentage that actually looks amazing in all lighting. Even sunlight.
So there you have it- a bargain - the diamond is selling for about 50% less than an Intense Yellow Heart, with no fluorescence, if it had this kind of color. So close to Vivid.....
