.24ct Fancy Gray-Blue SI1 Pear Shape Double Diamond Halo Ring

Blue diamonds are so desirable for good reason - they are truly remarkable to behold in person.

This one my be diminutive in size, but still packs a visual punch when you look at it closely. It is clearly and obviously blue, but looks nothing like a sapphire. The color - which is sublime - as opposed to blatant like in a sapphire, because the amount of white light coming back to your eyes is much more consistent than in a sapphire.

The stone has a lovely, organic shape known as "the model"

When dealers speak of the cut of fancy shape diamonds, they note both the "model" - which is the general outline of the stone.

They also note "the make"- discussing the cut characteristics. The would look at things like sparkle, and if the stone looks large for its weight. It is not brain surgery knowing if a diamond is well cut, but practiced eyes are always a plus.

This little guy sparkles plenty and consistently. It looks large relative to its smaller .24ct size.

The Ring

This is where the experience of our Uber Shop truly comes to the fore.

They have taken a really nice looking blue diamond and somehow managed to coax out the max color from the stone.
It is an amazing piece.

There is nothing like a blue diamond, and now this one can really shine.

The stone ALWAYS looks blue - you will see different shades of blue depending under which lighting you are looking.

I almost forgot how nice the pink diamonds look, and they do, but the center stone blows you away.
