Here is a great value in an orange diamond. You can see its orange - in itself, that makes it a cool, and desirable stone.
The color is vibrant, if somewhat "burnt" in appearance. The depth of color does mute the liveliness of the stone at times, in low lighting. However, give it even a little light and it starts to sparkle.
We graded the diamond I1 clarity due to a few clouds. You will also notice what looks like a small chip on the right side of the stone in the close up shots. This is not a chip - it's an "Indented Natural".
Basically there was a small cavity in the rough at that area. To polish it out would mean loosing too a large percentage of the stone. As it is the stone has a very nice shape and size for the weight.
Put it all together and you have a bargain stone. All these factors reduce the price to where it is now. |
