Finding orange is not rare in diamonds. The reason I say that, is because orange is an element of many brown diamonds.

Pure orange on the other hand? Virtually impossible to find.

Orange, when there is no presence of brown, becomes a different animal again. When GIA uses the term fancy orange-ish yellow, there is less orange then GIA using the term fancy orange yellow.

Stones like this one, which is GIA grated fancy intense orange yellow – give you a nice dose of orange at a relatively realistic price point.

The stone is a beautifully cut cushion. There is great sparkle throughout the stone, and good size for the weight. This is an eye clean SI1. The clarity grade is based on a few faint feathers of the very edge of the stone which are tiny, and it totally impossible to see with the naked eye.

The florescence has no bearing whatsoever on the beauty of the diamond – it is a very brilliant stone in all lighting environments.
