We start with a hunk of pink gold - then we beat the living crap out of it.
Kidding - but it does have this remarkable "beat up" texture. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this ring feels to the touch.
The way the diamond is set, it's protected well, and it looks rosy and bright.
More about the center stone
Here is a very cool pink diamond. The color is Faint - as GIA terms it - but it is apparent. Also it is lovely.
The stone is truly well cut. As a Fancy Colored Diamond, GIA does not issue a cut grade.
As you can see from the pictures, the facets line up beautifully. There is amazing light return - a lot of bright light kicks back.
It has been graded SI2 by GIA. The imperfections are not possible to spot with the naked eye. They are widely dispersed and very faint. |
