This is a gorgeous 18 karat double claw prong setting. Sparse in details, the ring is beautifully finished and has a very nice wait to it.

It is such a beautiful showcase for the diamond.

More details about the center stone

The color is very beautiful for a fancy intense yellow. It's pure, without a hint of brown or orange. The faint fluorescence is virtually impossible to detect unless you're looking at the stone in a dark room hold under ultraviolet lighting.

Let's talk about the clarity of the time. GIA did grade it I1, and I agree (for whatever that's worth).

This diamond is a great example of a borderline SI2/I1 diamond. What some people would call SI3.

The crystal imperfection is actually black carbon.

This might put some people off for its very existence. I look at the diamond with an open mind. Black imperfection is not necessarily worse than white perfection, unless it is.

In this case the placement and texture of the carbon causes it to blend into the stone. I can make it out in one of the photos just barely.
