1.31ct Fancy Orange Brown VS2 Cushion Cut Diamond Halo Ring
Here is a totally unique opportunity.
Here is the story: We initially made this ring for a very expensive pink diamond R5839. As it happened the buyer of that stone wanted a three stone ring - so we removed the diamond and made a new ring for the pink.
Fast forward to a few weeks back, we found this AWESOME orange-brown cushion. Truth is, the cutter really did not know what they had, which is why the ring has this kind of price.
We submitted to GIA, and got this killer grade - ORANGE!! With VS2 clarity to boot!
I really love the color so much. It's complex- looks brown at times, orange at times....deep color. The cut is a lovely cushion. Lots of sparkle.
The Ring
Here is another reason this is such a special piece - this is a top of the line semi mount that sells for about $4000. The setting work is perfect cut down pave- very delicate in appearance with a 1.8mm shank.
Generally speaking a 1.31ct in this setting will go for $8K and up. The ring with the pink diamond was more than $56k. That kind of puts the price in perspective.
