There's no "cessation of color"
The shape is so very close to square, GIA deems it so.
The nice corners really help in the sparkle department, and allow another important benefit....they allow for a perfect perch for the prongs.
The clarity on this stone is VS2. Search for a while with a 10 power magnifying jeweler's loupe, and you might find the tiny carbon spot. That's why GIA called it VS2.
It's totally eye clean.
A great looking radiant, with 66% depth.
It looks like so many 1 carat diamonds in terms of size.
