1.02ct Fancy Deep Brown SI1 Cushion Cut Diamond
The color of this stone is simply stunning. I'm calling it Fancy Deep Brown but there is so much vibrancy to the color. Normally, you would associate brown with something darker, yet when you inject the bright white flashes there's a coppery glow which is not dark at all.
The cushion cut is specially designed for the color. That means the stone is a bit deeper than you'd want in a colorless diamond. In this case, the depth has ZERO negative effects on the light performance. It does mean the stone looks a bit smaller than a typical one carat colorless cushion.
When I'm considering a stone like this, I consider bang for the buck in an overall sense. It is a very large stone for the price, and it is beautiful. Eye clean SI1 as well.
