2.11ct Fancy Deep Orangy Brown I1 Cushion Cut Diamond Halo Ring
This diamond is notable for its deep color. WOW - it is almost (dare I say) red looking at times.
This stone manages to kick back a lot of sparkle in spite of the syrupy thick color. It is an I1 clarity, but you really need to have it in exactly the right lighting to see the imperfection. Brown diamonds are not really subject to the same roles as any other color in many ways, clarity is one. The depth of color makes it very difficult to see the imperfections.
Cut is another area where brown diamonds sometimes "carve their own path". There are a lot of reasons brown diamonds are generally cut differently than any other colored stone. This stone does its job admirably.
Its job, in this case doesn't include looking very large for a 2.11ct. This is all made up for in the price.
Gorgeous stone for special reasons.
