2.18ct Fancy Deep Brown I1 Round Brilliant Diamond
We are in the fortunate positon of getting to select the best stones from large Indian Diamond Cutters. We selected this diamond from among a large parcel of stones. The reason was the brilliant Orangy Brown Color. This stone posseses that rare combination of darka dn bright- remarkable beauty.
The conbination of these two colors provide a organic coppery light show. If you love brown, this diamond will very likely please you.
GIA graded the diamond SI2, but the clarity is truly not an issue. I can see the crystals in a few of the pictures, however in others, they totally disappear. In real life you just can't make them out.
Really nice cuts coming out of India lately - this stone is a great example. It's not cut exactly like a colorless Round Brilliant- as there's different goals in mind. Yet, as you can see from the pictures- it does quite nicely in terms of symmetcial facet patterns, like a super well cut colorless. It spreads very well for a fancy colored round diamond of 2.18cts. I love the fact it's a nice amount larger than 2.00- making it a desirable weight.
