1.08ct F VS2 Pear Shape Diamond
When people are shopping online they are faced with a such a lot of information- which is both not enough and too much all at one time.
Say there are 40 pear shaped F/VS1 diamonds between 1.00-1.15ct on one of the Virtual Data Base sites.
There is going to be a large difference in price for two seemingly comparable diamonds - about 55% spread from the lowest to highest price.
This is one of the diamonds that would be listed at the very top of that list- if it were on any of the lists ( it's not) it would be up at the top of the curve.
The reasons for these price differences are pragmatic.
It is a really nice stone, but it has Fluorescence and it is "pudgy"
Both of these are actually desirable, but only for a limited amount of buyers.
A stone like the one in this listing is "prime"- incredible shape and color. "Faint" fluorescence has no detrimental effect on the price.
