1.13ct Fancy BrownYellow Cushion Cut Diamond

Here is a stone with a color that immediately caught my eye when I opened the parcel paper. At first look I noticed a somewhat “salmon” color.

Looking at the photos, and the stone, you do see a warm “melon” color, almost hinting at orange. I can see the stone looking quite nice in rose gold.

The cut is really nice for both sparkle, as well as “color capitalization”. The color and cut working together to give a warm bottomless sparkle. It is also laid out nicely for visual size. It looks like many a carat and a quarter cushion.

In terms of clarity, it is an SI1 - and you can see the reflections of the imperfections in the stone in the photos- but not the small crystal

In person the sparkle the cut produces makes all this totally irrelevant as the human eye cannot distinguish these small refection as the camera has done here.
