This is
a beautiful Cushion diamond. The shape and overall cut characteristics
perfectly suited to the lovely lemon yellow color. The shape is soft- not a
straight line in the profile- perfect for so many of the lovely rings that
capitalize on this lovely shape- a halo comes first to mind.
In terms
of color, GIA graded it Fancy Yellow.
In
normal room lighting- simulated well by the photo above, it's a very strong
Fancy Yellow- close to Fancy Intense.
The
photo below, taken in daylight- shows the effect of the Medium Blue
Fluorescence. It's still pretty darn yellow- just not as yellow as in room
lighting- slight chameleon effect there. The photo

GIA- and I can see that in this lighting, this stone- with Medium Blue
Fluorescence, looks a bit deeper yellow.
