How much will my new diamond appraise for? |
If you love vintage cut diamonds then you will love this one. This is the real deal! We know it is actually an old stone as it belonged to a relative of the person we got it from.
The stone is a bit on the deep side, but that is the norm from the time. To compensate, it has a perfect tiny little table and a tall crown. Adding to the charm, the stone has a nice large culet. Some feel that seeing the culet reflecting through the stone, as this stone does, is a negative. I happen to feel quite the opposite and think it adds to the charm. The cut is wonderful giving you broad flashes of light with a wonderful "rainbow" effect.
This stone has a great personality to it and the color suits it perfectly. The stone has been repaired to remove all the small bruises that come with age. This is a fantastic specimen!
