This beautiful cushion is a stone that's close to my heart.
Personally, I think the color grading could have easily gone as low as S-T
color- this diamond is clearly faint yellow.
If we set her in yellow gold and put white diamonds around her,
she'll sing like a light canary!
The
cut makes
the diamond look very large for a 2 carat.
The faceting pattern is mostly modern- but there are some large
facets on the lower half of the stone that give us some very chunky
flashes of light, mixed in with a bucket of crushed ice.
Of course, it's easier to love a huge looking two carat when it's
less than 6K!
