This is an
amazing stone. The photos give you a good idea- however in person, it's
mesmerizing. The facet pattern, and cutting quality give the stone phenomenal
sparkle.
It also
looks fairly large for a .70. Discussing the cut, without noting how the color
and cut work together would miss the point here. This is not merely sparkle-
it's pink sparkle!
Personally I
love the shape as well.
There's a few imperfections
that constitute the I1 grade here.
I'll use the above photo and
notate them.
The green and black arrows
point to internal feathers. The red arrows point to a "Natural" which is
actually part of the diamond that could not be polished without compromising
the entire stone. In spite of all this- the diamond will be eye clean to
almost all observers.
Seeing as how the result is
absolutely gorgeous to the eye, the cutter- one of the world's largest and
best for fancy colors- decided to finish the stone this way.

A note about photographing diamonds:
The main goal we have is to most
realistically represent the diamonds we are selling. In the case of Natural
Fancy Colored Diamonds, they have different appearances based on the light
source. You may notice that the diamond looks darker in some of the photos,
and lighter in others. It is this way in real life as well. We choose the
photos ( which are not retouched in any way for color) that most realistically
represent the lightest and darkest face of the diamond
