This is a beautiful custom made double halo diamond ring. The center stone is an amazing Fancy Light Greenish Yellow diamond. Green diamonds are extremely rare. Pure green is among the rarest colors in natural diamonds. Of course this particular diamond is not pure green, as it also has the yellow color in it as well. That brings you live in the the price range of mere mortals.
It is a real pain in the neck trying to get a picture of this diamond and accurately represent it. So many different colors come off of it. Below are some pictures that show you the many faces of this diamond.
This diamond also has somewhat of a chameleon like personality. Chalk that up to the unusual color, and the strong blue fluorescence. sometimes the diamond looks almost like brown, sometimes almost yellow. Always looks interesting to me. The cut is very pretty, albeit not the same as the typical colorless round diamond. GIA graded the diamond VS1. You can not see anything without the aid of a magnifying glass , or loupe.
This custom made ring is a great compliment to the greenish yellow center diamond. The side stones are carefully selected and extremely well cut. The yellow diamonds are very vibrant and the other stones are high in color giving wonderful contrast to this ring.
The double halo not only helps to accentuate the color of the center stone, it really increases the finger coverage you get. It has a lovely floating halo style that will look wonderful next to a wedding band. The over all effect is simply amazing!
