1.56ct W-X VS2 Heart Shape Diamond
What do you look for in a heart diamond?
Truth is, I'm very particular.
I need the right shape, I need the right sparkle - and that is just the beginning. I would say I'm disappointed at least 75% of the time when I open the paper of a heart shape diamond for the first time.
In this case it did tell me that the stone was a W-X color - but more on that later.
So anyway, when I opened this paper it was love at first sight - an amazing cut!
The diamond has a phenomenal shape- really out of this world- of course you can see that in the photos. Smashing sparkle - and great size for the weight - it's all there.
Then I did start to examine the GIA more closely. EX/VG for polish Symmetry?? You never see that on heart shapes - especially Fancy Colored Heart shapes.
Yes I did say "Fancy Colored"
I know, W-X is lighter than Fancy light Yellow- therefore technically not a fancy color, by the book. Problem is, this diamond never read that book :)
Seriously - look at this color! It has a lovely yellow shade, no denying it.
The next thing to adore about this W-X color is the price.
Thousands less than a Fancy Light Yellow - and once we are done setting it, your friends will be grabbing your hand to look at your canary heart diamond.
