1.63ct Fancy Light Yellow VS2 Heart Shape Diamond
You have to have an eye for heart shapes if you're a heart lover. This one is perfectly modeled for a "Fairy Tale" heart shape. There's not a straight line on it - all sexy curves - perfect cleavage.
In terms of sparkle, it's perfectly cut for a stone of this color. Heart Modified Brilliant- which basically means that the bottom of the diamond has some extra facets ( the alternative is "Heart Brilliant")
It is really not a case of of being "better than the other - just different for that reason only. I have seen specimens of each that were very well cut and had great light performance. This stone excels at sparkle - and even, bright, edge to edge sparkle. The color is a strong Fancy Light Yellow- close to Fancy Yellow
Combined with the really strong yellow color, and fairy tale shape, and it's a stunning combination.
Oh, and since the stone is not cut very deep, the stone looks more like a 2 ct diamond - did I mention that?
