1.68ct Y-Z VVS2 Cushion Cut Diamond
This is such a strong stone from so many standpoints. The cutter treated this as though it was a fancy colored diamond – because it is. And he or she did a masterful job. The stone has tremendous sparkle from all angles.
It transmits the color beautifully as well. The shape is so close to square as to appear square.
The aforementioned color is a beautiful light lemon yellow. The clarity, at VVS2 is also noteworthy. Then we have EX Polish and VG Symmetry – kind of rare to see in a fancy colored cushion diamond.
The fact that it was given Y-Z color by GIA limits the price – which is the buyer is a good thing for you. Not very different in color, but about 20% less costly been a stone graded fancy light yellow by GIA.
