1.84ct Fancy Yellow SI2 Radiant Cut Diamond
Here's a great value in a very unique diamond. Let's start with the weight which is related to the really sweet cut. Check the measurements - you are buying a stone that is larger than many 2ct Fancy Yellow stones on the market in surface area.
The faceting and proportion of the diamond are exceptionally pleasing to the eye. Generous corner size. The stone gives up nothing when it comes to dazzling light performance. It's like a bottomless pit of sparkle. In both bright and dim lighting it will grasp your attention.
The stone was in the vault of a cutter who is basically retired. The stone would surely get an SI2 grade from GIA , which is why he submitted it for Color only report. Having said that, this is an amazing SI2. One tiny carbon point, and a translucent feather, also very small. The diamond is totally eye clean
The color is very strong for a Fancy Yellow - close to Fancy Intense.
Put it all together and you have a great value here. You might buy a 2ct Intense Yellow, which might not appear any larger in size, and only slightly more yellow - but at almost double the price.
