2.39ct Fancy Light Yellow VS2 Radiant Cut Three Stone Diamond Ring
Here is a really well cut natural light yellow radiant cut diamond. When we are considering what constitutes a well cut diamond, what are we looking for?
For me, the essence of beauty in diamonds is when a skilled coder uses the natural rough diamond in such a way that produces something both beautiful, and possibly unique. Due to the nature of diamonds, that is to say, it is a very valuable mineral, the cutter must use all their skills to produce a beautiful diamond. In the case of yellow diamonds, they need to also produce an even color.
In the case of this diamond, the cutter was both artful, and skillful. Although it could be said, ostensibly, that many radiant cut diamonds are similar - under close examination, and to a trained eye - many differences can be seen between two stones that may look fairly similar. When we're looking at a round diamond, the facet pattern is always the same. When we look at fancy colored radiant cut diamond, many different facet patterns are used. Even if two radiant cut diamond have identical facet patterns, difference shapes of the rough will make the pattern look different on the finished diamond.
This 2.39 carat diamond looks like many other 2.60 carat diamonds you will see.
The proportions of this radiant cut diamond are pleasing. The cut produces a beautiful sparkle from one end to the other. The light lemon yellow color is even throughout the diamond. This type of stone looks lovely in either micro pavé halo ring, or a three stone ring – or a solitaire.
It is a perfectly eye clean VS2 diamond. If you examine the diamond under a microscope, or using a jewelers loupe, you can find a tiny black carbon spot tucked away unobtrusively. The carat weight, 2.39 carats is also desirable as it gets closer to 2 1/2 carats.
The Ring
I love this stone in this ring. The trapezoids really set off the center ,and vice versa.
You have quite a bit of diamond weight (3.24ct total) yet the ring is not cumbersome - in fact it is streamlined - low to the finger.
The “Uber” shop really knows how to do this type of thing better.
We can make a similar ring for less, but after looking at rings and diamonds for this long, I have decided that it is worth it going to the very best whenever possible.
Speaking of the trapezoidal side diamonds, they are all sparkle - really nice examples of their species.
If you like the ring in these photos, you will love it in person - we guarantee it!
The photos above are ACTUAL Photos of the diamond ring that you will receive.
