.54ct Fancy Yellow SI1 Cushion Cut Pink Lemonade™ Diamond Pendant
Here is a great deal on a lovely looking Fancy Yellow Cushion Diamond.
We bought it as part of a parcel. Here is how that works. We were offered 32 GIA graded Yellow diamonds at a single price per carat. the stones are between .36-.70ct. Since we are purchasing as a parcel all the stones were at the same price, we have to figure out the value for each individual stone. A .50ct Fancy Light Yellow SI1 is not worth the same as a .50ct Fancy Intense Yellow Internally Flawless.
We had to assign a value to each stone and see if the average price made the parcel worthy of purchase. This particular diamond passes the visual test with flying colors. The color is close to Fancy Intense Yellow.
It is a darn good SI1 - very close to VS2 and certainly eye clean. VG polish. The Symmetry, as graded by GIA, is "Fair" In person there's ZERO impact on the visual.
However, in the internet world these little details take on a whole new, and overstated importance- so we value this diamond hundreds below if it has Good Symmetry.
The Pendant
The Pendant is crafted in all 18kt rose gold, set with fancy pink diamonds. The setting is beautifully done. The colors set each other off magnificently. The pink is so very pink, the yellow diamond in stark contrast..
