Fancy Light Yellow Internally Flawless "DBL"Branded Old Mine Brilliant Antique Style Filigree Diamond Ring
Ladies and GentleGems - it gives us great pleasure to introduce the very first Internally Flawless DBL Old Mine Brilliant. Woo hoo!!
Yes, it is indeed possible to purchase perfection. The manner in which this diamond is cut is part of its pedigree as well. It is extremely rare to find Old Mine Brilliant Diamonds in Fancy Light Yellow, but these are special in that they transmit more color than other modern, or antique Old Mine Brilliant Diamonds.
Unlike antique diamonds, this diamond has very good polish and symmetry.
Truly gorgeous diamond.
In the photos below the Fancy Light Yellow Internally Flawless is on the left- and a diamond that GIA graded N color, R4767, is on the right (not included in the price of this listing)
You want big chunky flashes coming back at your eye?
YOU GOT IT!
You want a teeny tiny table facet?
YOU GOT IT!
You want a puffy, high crown to give that antique profile?
YOU GOT IT!
See, at this point we already know you are demanding - and that is exactly what we are looking for.
Demanding clients.
Demanding clients do not want normal, run of the mill stuff. They want exceptional jewelry.
Demanding clients may want to know a lot of details – ask questions and expect answers. I know I do when buying something of value.
Demanding clients do not put up with lax service. Nor do we.
At the end of the day, you are buying something like this for the ultimate enjoyment of it. The type of thing where my own personal preference when I buy is to spend a little more to get the very best - as opposed to lowest price, but lacking, even if just a little, in some respects.
Then again, I am a demanding client myself. We know what you want, and expect. You are not wrong to want it, ask about it, or expect the best from us. We have built this business over 15 years, stone by stone, client by client making sure everyone has been treated the way we would want to be.
The Ring
We have teamed up with a bench that specializes in fine antique style filigree work. The level of design, and quality is unsurpassed. This ring is totally unique - made specially and exclusively for Diamonds by Lauren.
We will service the ring as we do all the rings we sell.
The details are authentic- the main difference being the yellow gold elements - which would not have been on a ring made 120 years ago. Really smooth, wonderful finish to the ring. The millgrain bezel is beautifully done. There are a few slightly larger OEC's set into the shank.
The ring is substantial - built to be worn every day - yet it still feels very light.
GIA termed the color of this diamond “Uneven.” Personally, I can’t notice any inconsistency in the color.
I say this after comparing other diamonds of this cut. I know of about 28 other diamonds in existence with this particular modification on the Old Mine Brilliant cut.
Inherent in many fancy shaped fancy colors is concentration of colors in different areas. Emerald cuts, for example, tend to show more color at the ends. Pear shapes usually show more color at the point.
Especially now that the diamond is set, there’s simply no apparent inconsistency in the color.
The bezel, and general ring design do an amazing job of broadcasting the natural yellow of the center diamond.
The photos above are ACTUAL Photos of the diamond ring that you will receive.
