So much of the diamond business is "hands on". NO matter what the numbers say, a diamond must have a really nice appearance. The dealer we got this stone from specializes in buying non certed stones. We call him Sam Spade- he's been doing this forever.

His job is picking through the parcels of some very large cutters that many people have difficulty gaining entry to. Especially for the purpose of picking through hundreds of stones only to buy 10.

This stone has a gorgeous cut for  Asscher Cut lovers.

The imperfection causing me to grade it I1 is hard, if not impossible for most people to see. The incredibly icy white color and glittery sparkle coming off the stone are easy to see.

The ring is well suited to the stone- elegant in 14karat white gold. It is substantial and well made.
