The
diamond
This is a
light yellow diamond. The photos look pretty much like the diamond. I
mean, they are the actual diamond, captured on my camera. I'm just saying,
I'm looking at the diamond, and I'm looking at the pictures on my computer
screen. They look like the diamond- I mean they're bigger, but accurate to
my eye otherwise....
You could
say- "How do we know you're not lying?"
If you
don't know us, I would honestly not be insulted. I hate to admit this, but
there's a lot of diamond sellers who are not all that great at telling
what they know.
Here's how
it looks on my desk.
If you take a look at what
we're doing, you'll notice some very important distinctions- first is
our photos. Many sellers have no actual photos at all.
The next thing to look at
is that we don't sell "GIA certified diamonds"- Instead, we offer
"diamonds with GIA Reports." Might sound subtle- but many of the sellers
of "certified" diamonds have other than GIA reports. Watch out.
It could
be said that photos are of limited benefit.
These
photos give you a great deal of the info you'll need to see if you agree
that it's a nicely cut Radiant. You can see the shape and overall
personality.

The GIA report is for
color only- the clarity grade is mine.
A very clean diamond, it
took me almost a minute using a 10 power loupe to find a small white "gletz"
on the bottom. Totally eye clean.

CUT
The cut is very nice. A
bold rectangular shape with 59.6% depth you could easily mistake this
for a 1.75...maybe even a 2.00carat.
An attractive, light yellow.
The center diamond
is 1.57carats- a nice number. The total weight of the ring is a nice
round 3.47carats.
A Remarkable Ring
If the
ring was thought to be from the vault of a Countess from Victorian
England....it probably could pass muster.
It is,
without excuse, an exquisite ring. Undeniably impressive, it could
be worn comfortably on a daily basis.
Ah, step
cut trapezoids- nice wide "hall of mirrors" guys too. They are a
wonderful compliment to the beautifully cut 1.57ct Radiant Center

Diamonds
on three sides of the ring......
The
diamonds go 7/8th of the way around. The ring is engineered so there's
room for adjustment up or down from about size 5, up to size 7.5..
