Here's a "Super White" 3/4carat, Pear Brilliant Diamond.
The stone was graded D color - with Very Strong Blue Fluorescence. This makes the stone look a bit blue, in a very good way that's why I call it "Super White".
Back in 1976, when I was training at Harry Winston, the stone would have been classified as a "Premier"
The remarkable color aside, I love the way the stone is cut.
GIA classified the symmetry as "Fair" but you'll notice nothing asymmetrical about the diamond. The shape is perfect. The sparkle is amazing.
There are a few main facets on the bottom of these stone where the right side does not match the lef t- hence GIA's "Fair" grade. However in practical terms, you'd need to be looking at the bottom of the diamond with a loupe to be able to see why it has this grade.
VS2 in clarity - perfectly eye clean.
It all adds up to an amazing price as well! A truly unique and beautiful diamond.
Also the diamond is here in our office - not on any list or another website.
