Does it look a bit pink?
Yes.

I mean, it's truly hard to pin it down, but there's just a hint of rosiness. If GIA had even mentioned the "P" word (I mean, "pink", get your mind out of the gutter), the price would be much higher. As it is, we paid more than we would normally for a stone of this specific GIA color grade, but you can't easily quantify the aspect which is so appealing.

The cut is so very cool and befitting this stone. There's a small table supported by a generous crown height. Maybe that's why there's a persistent sparkle coming through a very cool natural body color, and that's maybe why we get the "pink" impression. They natural and placement of the SI2 imperfections render them invisible to the naked eye- and even hard to find with a loupe. It is a special stone!
