What a spectacular diamond. Unlike deeper blue lab diamonds that proliferate the market, this subtle shade is exactly as I'd expect to see in a natural diamond.
Of course, it would be a million-dollar diamond if it had this color and came from the earth.
It's a "Boron Blue". IG graded the diamond as H. GIA would surely have graded this diamond Fancy Light Blue. In fairness, IGI does mention "Faint Blue" in the description.
The stone is beautifully cut. Bright. Large flashes. If you're a pear lover, I think you'll really fall for this guy.
I'm contemplating making it into either a halo, or maybe slap a pair of colorless pear shapes on the side... whattayathink?
