Here is a great deal on a super cool diamond. We purchased a large parcel of stones- this is one that we are offering at the lowest possible price- so we have not spent the $159 for the GIA colored diamond report. If you would like a GIA report, you can pay the $159 and we'll submit the stone on your behalf. If you don't like the result or return the diamond, we will include the cost of the GIA in your refund.
This is a tough stone to capture on film. Or whatever it is that holds the pictures. Remember film? In any event, the color does change quite a bit based on the lighting under which you view it.
The stone is lively and bright. The cut is pretty, although the stone does face up small for a .51ct. There is truly no other detraction visually caused by the high 87.5% depth. Plus, the price more than makes up for the smaller size.
I have graded the diamond I1, however it faces up like a VS1. The imperfection is in a spot that makes it invisible unless you view the diamond from the bottom. It's possible GIA may grade it SI2 - I like to be very tough when we grade stones. We can set her for you if you wish.
