.58ct D Internally Flawless Cushion Cut Split Shank Diamond Halo Ring
This is a lovely cushion cut diamond. I love the shape of this diamond - a squat rectangle with very gently rounded corners. The cut is really neat. It is a cool blend of modern crushed ice as well as old chunky flashes of light. The depth of this stone is on the lower side making it look large for its weight.
The stone is D in color and IF in clarity. You cannot get any more perfect than this!
The Ring
This ring is so well suited to this type of diamond. It’s one of those designs that makes so much sense- the best designs are like this. Almost intuitive.
The diminutive size of the center diamond is no issue. The finger coverage is prodigious- the halo is 10.5mm across.
This is a lovely hand forged ring. The shank, at its thinnest point- is 1.7mm with a tubular cross section
We can make such a delicate looking shank with remarkable strength due to the hand forged manufacturing method. This is a totally solid piece of platinum.
I am incredibly detail oriented, and the ring is pleasing to me - even under extreme scrutiny. The details are there - claw prongs, pieces that are finished 360 degrees. Immaculate joints, where one part meets another. The diamond is perfectly seated - not too low, nor too high. The “girdle” of the diamond is visible... but just.
As you run your finger over the “cut down” micro pave, it feels surprisingly smooth.
This ring proves that you too can own a D Internally Flawless.
